This book started off with a bang had my attention the description of the book is outstanding. I thought wow this is going to be good. I am thinking a tough killer who fell in love but that isn’t what we got. This is one review I really do not want to write. The author does give you some great characters, a few you can relate to. Her father is someone you would love to kill and I sure hope there are no fathers like him out there but I feel sure there are.

What the author does give you is a family full of drama, a brother who is jealous and really hates his sister. The other brothers stand up for her and are really nice, the father is out for his self and will do anything to get what he wants. You have a woman who tries hard to get her father’s praise who really isn’t tough at all. Just when I thought she would get some backbone she becomes a crying mess. Amelia was a roller-coaster of emotions she just bounced all over the place.

Ms. Still has a great plot but for me it just did not live up to its full potential of the books description. Scene just didn’t fit for me and the author lost me as I thought she would pull me back in it just didn’t happen. For me it was missing the suspense, the thrill and the excitement. I feel sure others will love it. I just felt it dragged on I got that she was upset for having to kill her love but she just never stood up to her father like I expected her to. When she did she was a mess, tough one minute ready to kick butt and the next she was more child like.

There are some good parts with murder and gore, tough men and some very loving men. Her boyfriend is a sweetheart and the ending is pretty good. By the reviews some people love this and others do not. You be the judge you might find it is a great read.

I enjoyed reading this book. I haven’t read many mafia style books so it was a treat to read this one. It has quite the family dynamic going on and the way the author wrote made me feel for Amelia. She’s torn between family and the man she loves.

This book is written in first person POV (Amelia). It does end on quite the cliffhanger, but don’t fear! Book #2 is already out! I definitely look forward to finding out what happens next.

I initially received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review; however, I enjoyed the book and ended up buying it along with the next one in the series.

I'm gonna start by saying holy crap that was an awesome read.

Amelia Abbiati is deadly, Her job is to seduce her target and deliver their death sentence all for daddy dearest. She's daddy's secret weapon but things slowly begin to change once she's handed her latest hit, Zane Maverick, the guy who ran away and broke her heart.

Zane Maverick a detective with a serious dislike to the main man in the Abbiati family can't believe his eyes when he sees Amelia sitting at the bad across from him.

Amelia is living by one mantra that was drilled into her head "Don't feel, Don't deviate, Kill" as she meets zone again but those words begin to fall from her mind as she realises love is still a major feeling she has for him.

I don't want to giveaway anymore for those who haven't read this book yet but I just want to say you'll love this book. It's full of non-stop action that'll leave you wanting more. Femme Fatale is a book filled with Mafia, with lots of violence, blood and swearing oh and sex, hot sex. If you're looking for that kind of read then this is the book for you. Kirsty-Anne Still is an amazing writer and never disappoints my only regret is not reading this series sooner.
